David Christopher Barranco has practiced law in Texas’ federal and state courts since 1998. He graduated with high honors from New Braunfels Canyon High School, (National Merit Scholar, 1990), the University of Texas (Triple Major, Plan II Honors, 1994), and the U.T. Law School (Doctor of Jurisprudence, 1997).

David served as The Daily Texan’s Legal Research Director and Associate Editor-in-Chief for two years. In 1997, he received the Willie Morris Award for Editorial Excellence, U.T.'s highest editing honor. David has written for The Boston Globe, London’s Sunday Times, Forbes, and other notable publications.

David heads Bonus Points’ editing department and helps students with the disciplines of Writing, History, Mathematics, Government, Philosophy, and English Literature. An experienced college counselor, David is particularly good at helping students gain admission to Texas' most selective universities.
